TOPS Malibu is an established artisan-led brand in the field of celebration for parties, events, and special occasions. Our popular products including number sparklers, tabletop pinatas, surprise balls, and magic butterflies are made in the US and Europe, and can be found in stores worldwide.
While we have decades of established business in wholesale, we are looking to significantly grow our presence online.
We are seeking an experienced ‘jack of all trades’ ecommerce leader to scale online retail revenue through paid & organic marketing channels. The ideal person is both creative and data driven - they know how to launch a multi-funnel system to drive traffic and convert sales.
Prior experience with Shopify, Facebook Ad Manager, Google Adwords, and Klaviyo is required for the role
3+ years experience in ecommerce for a consumer facing D2C brand
Proficiency in graphic design is a plus
Copywriting skill is a plus
You will oversee the following:
*May hire agencies /independent contractors for specific roles, however we would like to keep as much of this in-house as possible. We currently have an in-house graphic designer and social media manager.
Shopify - website merchandising, theme and app optimizations to maximize conversion rate
Paid Media - manage advertising on Google, FB/ IG, TikTok, Pinterest, and Critteo Display
Visual Content: create scroll-stopping content for website, social media, and advertising: UGC, videos, gifs, images
Marketing Calendar - develop and manage all campaigns with a focus on holidays and cultural events for website, social media, and email
Influencer Marketing - develop and manage collabs / affiliate program
Publicity - service online and traditional journalists for product exposure, targeting seasonal gifting lists, and founder features
SEO - website metadata and link building strategy
Email & SMS - develop and manage Klaviyo flows, list segments, and email/SMS capture strategyAmazon & Etsy - manage merchandising programs for select products
